Simply Auto TL2000 Multi-Fit Magnetic L Plates, Twin PackMost L plates offer one way of attaching them, which works until you try it on your own car. Simply Auto Multi-Fit L Plates come with three fixing options on the same plate: magnetic, self-adhesive, and tie-on.That matters more than it used to. Magnetic plates only hold on steel, and some modern cars have aluminium bonnets and boot lids, plastic bumpers and composite wings. A magnet that grips perfectly on one panel will slide straight off another. With three options on the plate, there is a way to mount it wherever it needs to go.The plates are made to the legal size and lettering requirements and supplied as a pair so front and rear are both covered.Tough, weatherproof construction handles British conditions. Rain, road spray and repeated washing will not lift the lettering or leave the plate looking tired halfway through a course of lessons.Fitting Instructions: Clean and dry the panel before attaching. Magnetic plates should be lifted off every few days so both the plate and the paintwork underneath can be cleaned and dried. Avoid heavily contoured panels and any area repaired with filler, since a magnet needs full edge contact with steel to hold securely at speed.
